Michelin-Starred Restaurants in Lille and the Greater Lille Metropolitan Area

Life of the region

17/03/2026

With six restaurants distinguished by the Michelin Guide in 2026, the Lille metropolitan area confirms its place among France's great gastronomic scenes. From Vieux-Lille to Villeneuve-d'Ascq, by way of Croix and Marcq-en-Barœul, these restaurants share a common thread: chefs who draw on produce from the Hauts-de-France to craft personal and ambitious cuisine.

The Six Michelin-Starred Restaurants of Greater Lille (Michelin Guide 2026)

The 2026 Michelin Guide distinguishes one two-starred restaurant and five single-starred tables, spread between central Lille and the surrounding towns.

Rozó (2 stars) – Marcq-en-Barœul

Set in a converted former printing house beneath an industrial glass roof, Diego Delbecq in the kitchen and Camille Pailleau in pastry form the only two-starred duo in the metropolitan area. Rozó earned its second star in March 2025, six years after the first, obtained on Rue de la Monnaie in Lille. Their cuisine combines rigorous technique with local produce, with desserts where honey, pollen and acidity play a central role. The restaurant also entered the ranking of the world's best restaurants at the end of 2025.

Ginko (1 star) – Lille

Valentina Giacobbe opened Ginko in September 2023 on Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire, after working with Pierre Gagnaire (Gaya) and then at Rozó. Her inventive cooking, dominated by vegetables with Italian and Asian accents, earned her a first star and the Michelin Young Chef Award 2025. Julien Ingaud-Jaubert completes the duo on the pastry side. The setting plays on Lille brick and wood, with a chef's table of six to eight seats facing the open kitchen.

Le Cerisier (1 star) – Lille

On the first floor of a contemporary building on Avenue du Peuple Belge, between the Vieux-Lille neighbourhood and the Vauban Citadel, Guillaume Barengo (previously at Maison Lameloise, Lucas Carton and Ledoyen) took the helm in 2025, following Mathieu Boutroy's departure for Villeneuve-d'Ascq. With his partner Nell Reverdy, he builds seasonal, produce-led cuisine without affectation: a single evolving menu. The open kitchen allows guests to follow the service as it unfolds.

Pureté (1 star) – Vieux-Lille

At 79 Rue de la Monnaie, in one of the oldest lanes of Vieux-Lille, Gérald Guille (previously at the Ritz and Le Pavillon au Touquet, and a former Top Chef 2012 contestant) offers cuisine he himself describes as 'creative and uninhibited'. The chef, originally from Étaples, brings a maritime sensibility inherited from the Côte d'Opale. Tasting menu only, in a setting of raw materials (sandstone, concrete, wood, leather) and an open kitchen.

Arborescence (1 star) – Croix

Félix Robert and Nidta Robert opened Arborescence in 2022 in a former early 20th-century textile mill, at 76 Rue de la Gare in Croix. A star arrived as early as 2023. Félix, previously at La Grenouillère (Alexandre Gauthier) and Troisgros, offers menus in which fish, shellfish and vegetables take centre stage, with avowed Japanese influences (tempura, bao, Vietnamese coriander). The space blends botanical elegance with industrial structure.

Harmonie (1 star) – Villeneuve-d'Ascq

Mathieu Boutroy left Le Cerisier after six years at the helm to open Harmonie in November 2025, on Avenue de Flandre in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, with his wife Jun-Xiu Taing. The 300-square-metre space combines restaurant, lounge and workshops in a refined, light-filled setting. His cuisine, built around fixed menus with no choice, extends his creative style: langoustine with beetroot, Touquet potatoes with caviar, local produce worked with precision. The 2026 Michelin Guide awarded a star at the very first edition.

A Way of Life Built Around the Table

In the centre, Ginko, Pureté and Le Cerisier form a triangle of starred restaurants within walking distance, in a neighbourhood where the Haussmann-style facades, the private mansions and the tree-lined squares compose a setting where one simply wants to linger, dine and live. Rozó has chosen the residential calm of Marcq-en-Barœul, between parks and maisons de maître. Arborescence, in a former textile mill in Croix, and Harmonie, opened in November 2025 in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, illustrate the gastronomic dynamism of the surrounding towns.

Six starred restaurants for a metropolitan area of this size is no small thing. Lille is one hour from Paris by TGV, the historic neighbourhoods have real character, and ambitious chefs find an audience here that is ready to follow.
